8" of insulation has been rested between all rafters for sound insulation to absorb the deafening decibel levels of music this room will contain.
The new subflooring is about 2/3 installed at this time. 3/4" tongue and groove plywood screwed at 6" intervals to provide an incredibly rigid and stable floor to withstand the most animalistic dancing.
